Monday Night Football

Me and baby girl are sitting tight, watching MNF. I am teaching her about being a Steelers fan and, most of all, pulling for Willie Parker so I have a better chance of winning my Fantasy Football game this week. She is very interested...

What a week!

Wow, what a week. Things have been so busy that it seems like yesterday was Monday. Either way, we did get some good pics this week - as we know you don't care about our week, just what new pictures of Petrea are going to be put up!

Well, we did get some time to sit up and watch her first World Series. She was upset it didn't go any further and voiced her disappointmeent in Dye being voted the MVP when he took a freebie from the umpire. She didn't think that was very sportsmanlike, and unworthy of an MVP vote. She couldn't believe it only went four games...

Then on Thursday, I had my graduation from The Leadership Academy. I have been in the class for almost a year and have learned quite a bit. Again, I know you don't want to hear about that, you want to see the new pair of jeans that dad got the baby girl...

Hmm, what else. We had some fun with mom's hair - although Tre didn't think it was half as fun as Autumn and I did!

She has started smiling at us, not necessarily on demand, but smiling at us noneetheless. We have to be ready so we are "camera-ready" quite a bit. This one is a little funny - Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man funny! Also, one of her beautiful blue eyes and her cute little toes!

Officially a citizen...

Tre is officially a citizen of our fine country, as of today... We received her social security card today, complete with her name and new social security number (not that there will be any social security money for her when she retires, but I won't go there because Autumn is rolling her eyes as I type).

The first week of firsts...

Well, we had the first big roadtrip last weekend and Tre turned four weeks old on Wednesday!

We went down to Fairhope for Aunt B's wedding on the 8th of October. It was a beautiful wedding and everything went to plan. Unbelievably, we didn't get one single picture of the bride and groom in the same shot, so we will wait on the professional photographer's shots to post some later. Until then, here is a shot of Autumn and her sister... Then, Autumn, Chris and Petrea all dressed up...

There was all kinds of family there and we got some good pictures.

Then, after it was all said and done, Tre got a visit from the "bluebird of happiness!" She was just hoping that that he wouldn't leave any presents!

Well, that's all for now. We are going to get out and enjoy this beautiful Sunday, after beingg up most of the night, and walk up to Overton - maybe even stop by Dino's and get a calzone. Isn't life grand!

Three Weeks Old!

Today is three weeks old! I can't believe it. I can't believe it. We have a three week old child... Petrea is dong very well. Eating like crazy, filling up diapers left and right, and just being very cute in general. She is starting to focus on us more and her smile is just amazing. Autumn is doing better, too. She is starting to get out with the baby, a little. I think it is better that she get out of the house - you know how she gets cabin fever way to easily!
