Everybody's is busy, I understand. That isn't really an excuse - so, Petrea hid the computer...
Just kidding.
So much to update everyone on, let's get started.
First, pics of the girl, since that is what the public wants.

You see that correctly, she is standing up! She stands up and waves her arms and falls back on her bottom. Over and over again. It is so much fun to watch!
We went to the lake again for the Fourth of July and Petrea got to see her cousins and spend some time with Gran and Pops. We got out on the boat and really had to rought it for the few days we were there...

Pops got some good sugar while he was out on the boat.

While we were out on the lake, two boys had earned their Eagle Scout rank and were having their ceremony at the lake. Dad and I got to go out on the fireboat and provide a backdrop for the ceremony. No, it wasn't just the two of us, there was a crew of 12, but it was fun to be out on the boat. The fire boat at Ouachita is one of 11 of its kind built by the Coast Guard. If, for some reason, it were to turn over, it will right itself immediately. Pretty cool.

In other big news, we are selling the house! If you know anybody who wants a great midtown home with lots of character... We have signed a contract for a house in Cordova that Autumn and I are very excited about. HUGE yard for Petrea to play in, which I am very excited about. Here is a picture. It is pulled from the web. We take possession August 15 so when we get a chance to take more pictures, we will.

Oh yeah, the title of the post is 10 months. That is because Petee passed that milestone on Friday! One year is coming down the pipe so quick. Holy cow...

Two quick nods - Sam Thompson, a Rhodes grad, is running 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days to raise awareness for the damage that still plagues the Gulf Coast. Please go check out his progress at http://www.50in50in50.com/. If you have something to give, this is a worthy effort to invest. Go see him if he comes to your area or just send a small donation.
The other, FLOYD Landis. Although I am pulling for Thomas Voeckler (laugh all you want), FLOYD is really playing the game. You can go to www.letour.fr to check out everyone's progress.
