I know it has been a long time and, yes, so much has happened and there is so much to update. I will start with this last weekend and sort of work backwards while keeping us up to date as best I can.
We got the cold on Thursday night. Petrea ate dinner and obviously didn't feel that good because while I sat down to watch Thursday night football, she stopped playing and crawled up in my lap and went to sleep. For those of you that don't know - that just does NOT happen. She fights sleep, like - like - like her mother did when she was a toddler. So, she went to sleep in my lap around 7:45 and we were hoping she just needed some rest. Not the case. She still didn't feel good when she went to bed Friday (even though she had some new medicine) and when she got up Saturday, her poor little eyes were matted shut and swollen like I have never seen. After a long bath on Saturday, she was feeling much better so we decided some human contact was in order. We took her to her first Rock-n-Romp party. She had so much fun. She was trying to raid the cooler for some "real" medicine.
Then she found the sound wall where kids get to bang on pots and pans while they play with the band! I don't think she could believe she got to actually beat on something that loud!
She has decided that she loves music and loves to dance, so when the band kicked in, she got to movin'! She danced so much that she just flat wore herself out!
In other news, we went to the Lausanne Fall Carnival a few weeks ago, then to Rhodes Homecoming. It was my 10th year reunion. Petrea was very intent on the velcro wall at the carnival. If they would have had an infant suit, I would have obliged her curiosity...

This one really has no explanation - she just has a sock on her hand and we didn't know why!
We were trying to get some pictures outside by the rose bush, she was into her "screen test" as you can see by her "movie star kiss!"
